Publications The Group has been instrumental in producing a booklet entitled: The Gordano Round The booklet describes a 26 mile walk around the Gordano Val The walk was devised by Jim Dyer our former chairman. Route investigation and modifications were made by members of the Group. The booklet has been published by North Somerset Council and is available from: Jim Dyer, 3 Harmony Drive, Portishead, BRISTOL. BS20 8DH or from local book shops. The cost is £3.99 (plus £1.00 p&p)

If you feel a 26 mile walk is too daunting, the route is split into smaller circular walks still using the main route as the basis. Not only does the booklet describe the walk but gives an explanation of the history, natural history and geology of the area.
