Membership - join us

We welcome people from near or far, of any age, whether as active members, or as armchair ones. We wish to increase our membership, so we can achieve our aims more quickly, and to have more influence with councils etc. This is the only group dedicated solely to the WC&PR, and we currently have about 80 members.

Membership costs only £6 per person, or £9 for two people at the same address. The membership year ends on 31 March. All of the subscription goes towards the Group’s aims and it’s necessary costs (e.g. room hire and Group insurance). Members receive quarterly newsletters, so no matter where you live you can keep up-to-date with what’s happening. We hold quarterly members’ meetings, with guest speakers on a range of interesting topics. We have occasional trips to survey the route, and by arrangement with the landowners are able to see otherwise inaccessible stretches.
